School of Veterinary Medicine Supports our Marines!
The Staff, Students, Faculty and their Families of the School of Veterinary Medicine at LSU have put together 'We Support Our Troops' boxes to send to the units of vet school family members serving in Iraq. One of those boxes is Fallujuah-bound to the TOW Platoon.
THANKS! Your support means much more than just the things you've provided!
In response to word that it's COLD in Fallujah, there were 72 flannel blankets purchased and shipped on Saturday for our Marines!
The blankets were donated by a business, 'Willis and Alexander',
owned by Charles Willis and Nancy Alexander.
Charles and Connie Willis have a son-in-law in the unit. THANKS hardly says enough!!!

Breaux Bridge High School Supports the Troops with a Snack Drive
1015 Breaux Bridge High School Road
Breaux Bridge, LA 70517
Principal: Ronnie Dore
Chemistry and Physics Teacher: Christina Riley
Mrs. Riley’s chemistry and physics students donated snacks and thermos to send to the TOW platoon in Fallujah. Breaux Bridge High School honor students brought in the snacks and thermos over a two week period. The students donated 12 large thermos along with three boxes filled with snacks to boost morale, help keep the Marines warm, and show their support. In addition to the Snack Drive, Sharyn Hebert’s art students created a banner titled “Support our Troops” that was sent to the troops. Breaux Bridge High School students are thrilled to show their support for the troops that are serving in Iraq. Enjoy the treats!
